Whether it is simply the reassurance of a second opinion, or one of those very difficult to cost files, we are now providing a comprehensive opinion service. Depending on the particular circumstances, Richard Burcher is happy to give an "off the cuff" point of view at little or no cost. Often however, practitioners require something considerably more robust and we are happy to provide comprehensive written opinions ranging from a few paragraphs to 20 pages or more, depending on what the circumstances require.
These opinions are now being used very successfully to address complaints by clients without the necessity for an adversarial cost assessment, satisfy clients' third party advisors such as their bankers and accountants, resolve disputes between practitioners and in some instances, provide a pre-emptive reassurance to clients by providing them with the opinion at the time the bill is rendered.
