  • Rural Property Purchase Fee Report (October 2007). This is a 28 page report containing commentary and analysis plus tables, graphs and charts of regional and national results together with participants' comments arising from a typical farm or orchard purchase and incorporating data on pricing formulae and methodology used by practitioners and the impact of urgency and an above average consideration on pricing outcomes.


  • ADLS Commercial Lease Fee Survey Report (February 2008). This is a 35 page report on pricing patterns arising out of work associated with the Auckland District Law Society Commercial Lease Form incorporating commentary and analysis plus tables, graphs and charts on a regional and national basis together with participants comments. The report looks at fees charged to landlord and tenant clients, fees on the consent to an assignment of lease and a detailed exploration of practitioners views on the suitability of the current clause 6 in the ADLS Commerical Lease Form.


  • Family Trusts (June 2010) . This is a 48 page report containing commentary and analysis plus tables, graphs and charts of regional and national results and participants comments. The report comprehensively investigates pricing patterns throughout the country in relation to all usual aspects of the establishment of a family trust, asset transfer and all ancillary work with some astonishing results. It is also the first of the surveys to be repeated after 2 years, providing valuable comparative and trend analysis.


  • Hourly Rate Survey Report (November 2008). This is a 37 page report incorporating commentary and analysis plus tables, graphs and charts of regional and national results of hourly charge-out rates for consultants, partners, solicitors and legal executives. It also provides valuable insight into firm's productivity, expectations of its authors relative to salaries and discloses some unexpected (and not particularly encouraging) trends.


  • Wills & Deceased Estate Fee Survey. This 60 page survey explores pricing practices within the profession in relation to the preparation of wills (with several fact scenarios including life interest wills covered), applications for grant of administration (including probate, letters of administration with and without a will, estate administration issues generally, modest estates, average sized estates and large and complex estates, the use of hourly charging and/or formulae for establishing the fee, deeds of family arrangement, deeds of indemnity and release on distribution and much more.


  • Residential Conveyancing (August 2009) This 50 page report deals with conventional sales and purchases (with and without finance), pricing practices the more involved transactions (including high-value transactions, trust and company purchasers, unit title purchases and extensive memorials), refinancing, purchasing and retirement villages, residential subdivision, home equity release loans and independent advice on guarantees.
