Barristers Hourly Chargeout Rates Survey - Sept 2009
"I am very pleased to see that Richard's pricing research work is being extended to practitioners at the Independent Bar. Reliable and anonymous market information about the pricing practices of colleagues is a key factor in making one's own pricing decisions. I have no doubt that the information and analysis that Richard will be able to provide from this first survey designed specifically for the needs of barristers will be immensely valuable"
David O'Neill, Barrister, Hamilton

- % of annual revenue derived from different work types
- Hourly charge out rates by work type
- comparison of your revenue generated by Legal Aid v full paying clients by different work types
- differentiated charge out rates based on jurisdiction e.g. District Court v High Court etc
- premiums charged for urgency and outstanding results
- termination fees
- the various ways that office expenses (tolls, faxes, forms, photocopying, courier fees etc) are handled
- Gross revenue and net profit benchmarking (optional)
